A standard belongs to category L6e, light electric quadricycles. A Birò Bold belongs to the category L7e, heavy electric quadricyle (Europe).

But we suggest you to contact your state authority for motor vehicles, as rules among different countries may vary.

Birò is a small size quadricycle, therefore it can be parked anywhere where you can park mopeds, including the small spots since the Birò will fit perfectly. However, it is recommended to contact your local council on how to best take advantage of this feature.

Since it is 100 percent electric, Birò arrives with the government subsidy of the program "KINOUMAI ELECTRIKA 2".

Of course! Birò is approved to drive without doors. It is therefore possible to drive freely on the road even when you removed the doors (a very simple operation).

Estrima equips all Biròs with safety belts. In the L6e and L7e categories the safety belts must be worn while driving (Europe).

Birò is approved for two people, and has two seats next to each other.

Children who are smaller than 150 cm must be secured in a child safety seat, appropriate to their weight. Contact your local authority for motor vehicles for specific requirements, as this might vary among countries. If the child safety seat can be placed in the Birò, then it is possible to transport a child or a child car seat.

Birò’s Winter and Summer versions are both equipped with numerous storage compartments:

– Compartment located behind the seats (41L)

– Compartment located in the back of the car, with key lock (41L). Only available for Birò models with maxi lithium batteries.

– Additional small compartment.

Only the Birò Big and Birò Box models have a compartment located behind the seats with a 300-litre capacity.

Birò is able to tackle slopes up to 20%, thanks to the ‘’Boost’’ function it is possible to supply deliver more power, using the two 4kW brushless motors.

No you cannot. Birò complies with European law and is approved to reach a maximum speed of 45 km/h (L6e version) and 60 km/h (L7e version). For this reason modifications the the maximum speed cannot be made, it would also void the warranty of the vehicle.

Since rules among different countries may vary we suggest you to contact our local dealers, the nearest Birò store in your city. Or you could contact the state authority for motor vehicles.

Being an electric vehicle, the necessary maintenance is minimal and concerns mostly the mechanical elements of the vehicle. In general, good and proper maintenance contributes to safer driving and ensures the quality and performance of the vehicle over time.

It depends on the type of intervention required. The Estrima network is available to assess each individual case and provide the best possible solution for the needs of each customer.

For all new Birò models with a Birò card reader installed, there is no risk of damaging the battery; in fact, leaving the vehicle on charge is recommended. On the contrary, for older Birò models without a Birò card reader it is not recommended to leave the vehicle on charge for more than 72 hours consecutive. Regardless of the version, it is recommended to recharge fully once a week.

If Birò is not used for long periods, it is necessary to avoid leaving the vehicle with a discharged or partially charged battery, especially when the outside temperature is low. Make sure that the batteries are fully charged and ensure that the Birò is charged at least once every three months, this will compensate for the self-discharge of the batteries. Before leaving the vehicle unused for long periods, remember to disconnect the “buffer battery” located under the engine hood following the instructions in the service and maintenance manual provided.

With Birò no modification is necessary.

Battery duration depends on multiple factors, including: the outdoor temperature, driving style, tyre pressure, correct adjustment, cleanliness of the brakes, type of journey and passenger weight.

Lithium batteries are guaranteed by Estrima for 24 months or 1,000 cycles of recharge, whichever occurs first. Battery life depends on several factors, including those related to their usage. Their life expectancy is approximately 40,000 km for the Re-Move battery and 50,000 km for the Maxi battery.
